Santa!!

Merry Christmas wooohoooo!!!
the snow is almost falling and here is my first drawing related to the festivities :D heres santa with his giant sack full of presents for everyone who has been good this year :D now he just has to make sure he can deliver them all in one night heheh :D

Here is a slightly expanded crew of sock monkeys woohooo hehhehe working on this personal project but don't want to post too much yet so my blogging has become rather less lately but I am still drawing just had a mega busy couple of weeks and shall be back on here posting like a crazy rabbit soon enough anywho for now here is a collection of some super cool sock monkeys :D

Stitch 'N' Thread

Round three: Dave

Here is Dave hehehe :)  tried a little mouth open monkey to see if it would work heheh think he looks quite cute and blissfully unaware of the world around him hehehe :D This is the boy version for the trio.

Sally has arrived!!

Here is sally the sock monkey, the girly one of the three :D keeping these designs very basic for now, hence the lack of details. Decided to settle with this style now the vector style i was originally doing was not creating the right style that I was looking for.

Introducing Dave!!

Hehehe this is the start to a personal project I am working on it's..... well don't want to give to much away this early on but it is mostly based on sock monkeys :O gone just a tiny bit sock monkey crazy hehhe....this is the one that started off my love for these cute creatures :D and well the inspiration for this idea so Jo shall be the main focus. I am making two partners in crime which I shall pop up when there done :D

This is daisy and for the school play she was asked to be the tree :D she was so excited she decided to take her costume for a test run :D she found a nice quiet spot put her arms out like branches and before she knew it she had a squirrel on one arm looking for a new home and a bird perched and her tall branches :D

wooooohooooo here is the header I made for the monkey business blog its a tangled sock monkey and built the font myself :) this was done in flash and photoshop :)

Character Design!!

here is the first piece to the jigsaw puzzle that is my current project I am creating a blog for promotional purposes for a sewing genius who makes sock creatures....this is the design of the creator herself and next I am going to create the blog header and other elements of the site :D

hehhe this was a drawing i did in work on halloween night coz happened to be that I was in work helping get the christmas stuff ready yep I said christmas :) as we took the halloween decorations down i thought I would make this tesco zombie drawing as a homige to the halloween celebrations being over, this is me scanning labels hhehe and im a sleepy zombie face hehhe :D

Loves giving out great big hugs but no one seems to want one! One day hell be a grown cactus and reach high into the sky :)

Moshi monster inspired drawing :)

Here is my moshi monster version of myself hehehhehehe tried to keep the shapes simple and stuck to using minimal detail :) gave myself a tiamo jumper heheheh really enjoying being inspired by the style of moshi monsters!!

This is my own version of a background done in the style of moshi monsters :)
I was looking at how they use all rounded shapes and add a very minimal amount of shading. I really like the heavy contrast of lines on the characters and none on the backgrounds :)

Ice cream with attitude

Here is swirley the strawberry flavoured ice cream cone :) she loves to smile all day and everyone wants to eat her coz she sooo delicious :)

Army cat

This is frank the army cat, he has returned home. Safely and is back with his family :)  he keeps his helmet with him allways to remember all his army friends .... He has hurt his foot and tail but he is all bandaged up and on his way to a full recovery :)

The mouse and his cheese

This is morgan the mouse and he likes to wear his cheese jumper everywhere he goes. He thinks its a magic jumper because its actually starting to smell like cheese but that's just because he's been wearing it soooooo much :)

Birdy bird face :)

This is Daphney she liked digging for worms and other creatures so she can make new friends ......they always wriggle away from her she doesn't know why. I think they might be scared :) she likes to splash around in the water and dry off in the sunshine.

Raccoon

This is Ralph the raccoon :) he gets very nervous around others he likes to chillax in the sun and combing his stripey tail :)

wooohooooo happy birthday ieuan :D for his birthday card i made him this hehehhe there versions of me and him as adventure time characters, i tried to make us be intergratable into the series so i would be princess bubblegums cousin and ieuan would of been a member from marcellenes band hehehheheh it could totally work im sure of it hehehe :D

Here a lion her name is simba :) she loves jumpers heheheh!!!

This is my attempt at the same design of my lion but in a completely different style it's highly inspired by moshi monsters :)

The lion in the puple jumper

This is Simba the lion cub his mum gave him a jumper because she was worried he would be too cold when he went out hunting, he wasn't feeling cold though and now all the the other animals are making fun of him, part from Lola she thinks he looks extra cute :)

Here is Lucy she loves being happy :) this is a new character design I was working onnwoooohoooooo if done a lot of animals recently so this was my first character if done in a while was fun :)

Lamp shade head baby :)

Here is lamp shade head baby or as he is better known by his family and. Friends as Dylan Griffith :) he was peacefully eating his mushy peas and chips when a strange object was placed over his head blocking his vision :) he was faltered even slightly as long as he could get his dinner into his belly he was happy :)

Hehehhehehe during a moment of craziness I decided to draw a series of character with lampshades on their head this one he is trying to pretend to be a lampshade :) hehehhehehe I have done a few of these and if I have time I may do some more :)

Mr Lightbulb

Here is Mr Leonard Bleeker the lightbulb, he like to glow and spread light to dark places. He wears rubber gloves because he can give off soooo much power. He is a professor of artificial light and energy. Everyone loves his lectures :) one day he knows it will be time to full fill his destiny and light up.

Here is blu the grizzly bear, he doesn't go anywhere without his vintage blue vest from his papa bear. He has sharp claws and everyone is afraid of him but he just wants to make friends :)
