IF - Layers

She has layers and layers of hair it's just crazy..... im not gunna lie it's slightly tangled inspired ...this took me an hour or so :) nice little break from work ... hope you like :)

this is the rough sketch I did fo rthis weeks illustration friday :) this was done straight in illustrator and I drew over it then :) obviously but thought i would mention :)

new character again

i thought i was finished but aparently not :) oh the joy of development ..... i added a few bits and i made her a bit older for the funs and because it looks better of course :) im pretty happy with her now and shes super animatable yay

well turnaround or front and side really :) prety happoy with the new and improved design gunna do a test moving some of the parts to see how she does..sorta rigging thingy but for flash :)

insitu test

I popped these on a background that Mathew Rhys has done for me, hes working on most of the background work for my short film. I feel in this the girls skin colour is getting lost and there is alot of green but ill be having a play around with the colours.

character development

these are two new designs of the girl...now i finished roughing out the animation im ready to start symbolling and what I found is the way I had build the girl was quite complicated for symbola dn hand drawn animation... i have looked into changing her design to making her more animation friendly...took away the heavy black line that I had on her I found it improved the design quite alot...Im a little worried of her getting lost in the backgrounds now.

Tangled

Tangled yay decided to do some drawings :) the film is super awesome and so are the character and everything yay :)

this scene she bobs down the stairs heading for her breakfast woohooo... just wanted to addthese are roughs I only have the basics on these as im gunna add more detail when i start adding symbols and such :)

I have 4 scenes left till I have a full run through of my film wohooo so im hoping to have that done by monday :) anywho im rabbling stairs yay.

been animating yay ....fun times ahoy anywho i wanted to pop some tests up figure it would be cool to see the progression of my little filmage :) this test is near the beginning, shes been called down for food she she hops off the bed and heads out of her room.... :)

More life drawing yay :) i think i need/want to do some faster sketches but i like spending 10 mins or so a drawing to clean it up and such ....life drawing yay lol

new dog design

These are new and improved designs for my dog character :O wooohoooo i have a dog... I did have a final design but I want happy with it he had too much detail and I didnt feel he fitted properly with my other character now :)

I may change the colour of him when i pop him on the bakgrounds if I feel he is getting lost or doesn't look scary enough. :) oh should probably mention the bottom drawing is the final design

finall finshed my new walk cycle yay :) im pretty happy with it I wanna add some movement in the hair and some little extra bits but for now this is what ya get to see :) im working on my film now so wanna start doing tests for the different shots :)
